Unhampered is about supporting Chesterfield's independent businesses. Phase one was the launch of an online directory of Chesterfield’s fabulous independent shops, restaurants, food suppliers and more, the businesses we love, all in one place.
The Unhampered online directory showcases over 200 local businesses and is a great place for you to seek out the indpendents and support them, but it's also a place that helps visitors to town find the best we have to offer.
We have a number of Founder Members as shown on these pages, please go and visit them; Adorn Jewellers, Bottle & Thyme, Defeye Creative, Ginspired, Ingmans, Libby's, Pizza Pi, Odyssey Greek Restaurant, S40 & S41 Local Magazines,Tallbird Records, The Cafe at Libby's, The Cheese Factor, The Vintage Tea Rooms, and Vanishing Point Records.
Over the past few months we've delivered our Unhampered map, featuring a selection of hand picked selection independents. Maps have been really well received and distributed to founder members, hotels and the tourist information centre.
We're presently working with Chesterfield market traders to produce market specific maps listing the great range of traders we have on the various markets in town.
We'll be supporting Totally Locally's Fiver Fest through our channels and of course we will personally be trying to partake in as many £5 offers as we can.
And with Christmas fast approaching we'll be looking at how we support Chesterfield's Independent businesses through the festive season.
