‘Independents Day'
Following on from non-essential retail businesses opening on 15 June today sees the return to trading for many of our cafes, restaurants, pubs and other businesses.
At S40 Local we've been working with Peter Barber and Helen Rowan as part of the OPEN Signs: Creative Project.
Our post of Pete’s painted signs and Helen’s photos of the owners outside their premises was seen by over 25,000 people as everyone helped share the news of the businesses opening.
Please try and support the additional businesses (and all our town's independents) if you can, but please be respectful of any new hours or procedures they have in place to ensure our safety, as they comply with social distancing measures.
Let’s see a mass of support for Chesterfield and help our independents get ‘Chesterfield OPEN’.
