Tipple Adventures

Bespoke pop up mobile bar, plus grazing boxes to your door.

Tipple Adventures was established in 2018 and has adapted to offer bespoke Grazing boxes, due to Covid. Grazing boxes are tasty boxes of food and a choice tipples, delivered to your door.

Emma Garlick is the owner of Tipple Adventures and brought me up to date with progress since starting her business.

“It all started in 2018 after I left my job in the events industry” explains Emma. “Working with so many different customers, it became clear there was a gap in the market - people wanted an impressive, memorable celebration or party, but they often wanted it at their own home or in a unique exclusive environment. I decided to set up a business to ‘bring the celebration to you’, and Tipple Adventures was born.

“Grazing boxes offer the opportunity to enjoy our fantastic food accompanied with fine wines, local craft beers and cocktails in a jar. Customers are missing their holidays as much as we are, so I have created Grazing boxes, specific to continental regions; Spain, France, Italy, a local Derbyshire grazing box for those missing their local pub and a breakfast box to satisfy your brunch fix. The majority of our produce is from local suppliers; Cheese Factor Chesterfield, The Bulls Head, Holymoorside and Frutura, Wingerworth. I’m proud to be a local business supporting local business.”

“Tipple Adventures also offer a complete pop-up mobile bar that can be set up at an outdoor or indoor event and we can accompany the pop-up bar with ‘Whinny’ our converted horsebox bar.

We can also provide stylish settings, lights and a marquee to ensure you and your guests can stay comfortable, should the British weather do its best to dampen spirits.

“I’ve worked with experienced Mixologists, people skilled with inventing, preparing, and serving mixed drinks, or cocktails - the primary focus of any party is the bar and having a fantastic array of quality drinks available for guests to enjoy, really enhances the event!”

“The events business has been going well and 2020 was set to be our biggest year, with two events booked every week during the Spring and Summer. But, like all businesses I got thrown a curve ball in March and had to think creatively about how I could adapt my business”, explains Emma. “So, at the start of lockdown we obtained the necessary food hygiene ratings, picking up the highest rating, the correct permissions and licensing from our local council and set about bringing the party to your doorstep through the Grazing boxes.”

The Grazing boxes are available to order for delivery and have become a permanent service that Emma will continue to offer, even once the guidelines on events have changed.

With regards to outdoor events, Emma is happy to talk to anyone looking to host a bespoke, private party, “this is the ideal way to host an event post lockdown; your own bar, a location of your choice which you can ensure is safe and a guest list you control” says Emma. She is keen to stress that she will only be offering the full mobile bar once it’s safe for her, her staff and her customers alike. Find them here:
