Enterprise and Training Centre
July sees the official opening of a new venture for Loundsley Green Community Trust (LGCT).
Loundsley Green Community Trust provides a wide range of support services and facilities for residents in the west of Chesterfield, from its Community Centre. One of the services of which it is very proud is the support provided to people who want to leave unemployment and to work for themselves. With support from its Enterprise Coaching programme over 70 local people have returned to work by starting their own businesses.
And now LGCT has announced the extension of this service with the opening of The Green: Training and Enterprise Centre.
The building, which adjoins the Community Centre provides start-up office space for five new businesses, plus training and meeting rooms to allow the delivery of training programmes focusing on employability skills.
The five upstairs offices are available at competitive rents, inclusive of utility and broadband costs.
LGCT Trustee Ian Birchmore says: “This is a really exciting addition to the amenities available to people in the area. At a time when many people are looking at self-employment as a way back into paid work, this facility provides an ideal first step for any new business. We will also continue to provide our free Enterprise Coaching service to ensure that people taking their first steps into running a business have all the support they need”.
If you have recently started up a new business or are thinking of starting up, get in touch with the team at The Green to see if their services are right for you. The team at The Green also have access to a range of business support services that may be able to assist you.
