Westfield Allotment Association plotholder, Neil Jackson, has helped brighten up the area over lockdown.

Neil is a member of Chesterfield Art Group, and over lockdown, took to ''getting out of the house a bit'' and began to paint on the storage shed at the allotments.

Then with the wind behind him, just carried on. Eric Loe, Chairman, commented "it brings a smile to us all as we go down to work on our plots."
