With ecobicks we have the chance to put the positive qualities of plastic that were once so problematic - longevity, durability - to good and green use!

An ecobrick is a two-litre plastic bottle filled to the brim with plastic! Anything from crisp packets and sweet wrappers to baubles and toys can be cut up and stuffed into a plastic bottle to a set density.

The lid is then screwed on and the bottle is used as a building brick, brilliant! Ecobricks enable us to take personal responsibility for our plastic and are great to make with your kids, teaching them about the importance of recycling and how we can all make a difference, by making small changes!

Ecobricking is a simple but brilliant solution to the world’s crisis. As a species we are producing and consuming more plastic than ever before. The UK alone produces over 3.7 million tonnes of plastic per year, a lot of which cannot be recycled! Plastic is an incredible material with many positive properties that make it ideal for building with, so why let it go to waste?

With ecobicks we have the chance to put the positive qualities of plastic that were once so problematic - longevity, durability - to good and green use!
